Our Services

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

At our Ravenna Center for Neuropsychiatry, we provide highly personalized Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (Deep TMS) using advanced Deep TMS technology by BrainsWay. We specialize in TMS therapy for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and smoking cessation.

Each patient undergoes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to develop a customized TMS treatment plan that precisely targets the brain circuits associated with their symptoms, improving clinical outcomes while minimizing side effects.

Deep TMS is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive depression treatment that requires no anesthesia, no systemic medication, and no downtime—allowing patients to return to work or daily activities immediately after each session. As a physician-led TMS clinic, we combine board-certified psychiatric expertise with cutting-edge neuromodulation technology to deliver effective treatment for depression, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and nicotine dependence, especially for individuals who have not responded to antidepressants or traditional therapy.

Psychedelic Education and Harm Reduction

We are excited to offer psychedelic education and harm reduction services grounded in transparency, ethics, and evidence-based care. We provide personalized consultations to help patients understand the current scientific research on psychedelic therapies, including potential benefits, psychiatric and medical risks, and known contraindications. Our services include thoughtful preparation and integration support for individuals reflecting on past psychedelic experiences, as well as balanced, research-informed discussions about emerging treatments studied at leading academic institutions. When appropriate, we may also initiate referrals to registered clinical trials investigating psychedelic-assisted therapies.

We are clear about our boundaries. We do not provide, prescribe, or facilitate access to psychedelic substances outside of approved clinical trials or legal state-regulated programs. We do not offer guidance on sourcing, dosing, or using psychedelic compounds, and we do not encourage or promote illegal activity. Our psychedelic harm reduction services are strictly educational and supportive in nature, designed to help patients make informed decisions, reduce risk, and process prior experiences within a safe, medically responsible framework.

Expert Psychiatric Consulting

If you’ve tried multiple medications, years of therapy, or different treatment approaches without meaningful relief, you may feel discouraged or uncertain about next steps. Our Expert Psychiatric Consultation is a comprehensive, psychiatrist-led second opinion designed to provide clarity when treatment feels stalled. This is not a routine medication visit — it is a detailed review of your psychiatric and medical history, prior medication trials (dose, duration, response, side effects), therapy experiences, and diagnostic considerations, with structured, evidence-based recommendations tailored to you.

With specialized expertise in advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Esketamine, IV ketamine, and emerging psychedelic research, we help patients determine whether higher-level or interventional options are appropriate. This service is consultative — not ongoing primary care or routine medication management — and is ideal for those seeking a thoughtful, individualized, research-informed second opinion before making major treatment decisions.
